Keep Calm And Carry On

‘Keep calm and carry on’ is the slogan from a British government motivational poster in 1939 in preparation for the Second World War – aimed at raising the morale of the British public, threatened with widely-predicted mass air attacks on major cities as the world plunged into an anxious uncertainty.

Now we have the Brexit vote and many people are feeling anxious and worried uncertain about their futures as the UK faces ‘going it alone’ without the European Union. Many are predicting doom and gloom and others are saying it will all be fine.
Dealing with an uncertain future – worrying about things beyond our control – can lead to feelings of stress, anxiety and even depression and one of the best things we can do for our health and well being is have regular deep relaxation sessions.
But beyond Brexit, many of us find the pace of life does not leave enough time or space to truly relax and this is where deep relaxation hypnotherapy sessions can be invaluable. Hypnotherapists with the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH) can help people get rid of all that built-up pressure and enable them to learn how to take greater care of themselves through deep relaxation.
A session of deep relaxation in Clinical Hypnotherapy is not just taking time out. It is a deliberate intervention that allows the mind to follow your physical body into a peaceful state leaving you with a wonderful sense of lightness that lingers for hours and sometimes even days.

Over time you regain the ability to just let go and discard the stress and tension of the day and week.
A deep relaxation hypnotherapy session is simple. You are led through a progressive relaxation process and your thoughts and mind are led away from any stressors to a place of peace and tranquility.
This process will be priceless in helping you form a new habit of real, deep relaxation in the future. The benefits are many and can include a better functioning immune system, some relief from stress–related ailments like headaches, backache and migraine. The sessions can help lower blood pressure and reduce emotional stress that can trigger asthma attacks.

According to the NCH, our society places great demands and responsibilities on us and about one in seven people are suffering from stress or anxiety at any one time in the UK.
“While some people manage, more and more people are showing signs of over-anxiety, which leads to stress, which can make a significant impact on the quality of life and wellbeing,” says the NCH.
If you have unwanted feelings of anxiety, why not look up an NCH therapist near you (by clicking here) and they can allow you to explore ways of being free from anxiety.
Deep relaxation hypnotherapy is better than having a racing heartbeat, shortness of breath, a tight feeling in the chest or butterflies in stomach because you are anxious.
It will allow you to ‘keep calm and carry on’.
