FAQ’s

Are there some people who cannot be
hypnotised ?
Apart from some people suffering from certain forms of mental handicap, most people can achieve this state, although the degree will vary from person to person.

Shall I be Aware of what is happening?
Yes. Probably more aware of events than you would be normally.

Am I asleep or unconscious?
No. That is why hypnosis is sometimes referred to as an Altered state of awareness. If you were asleep or unconscious you would not be aware of what was happening.

Could I be influenced to do anything against my will?
No. You would return to your normal state of consciousness immediately if any such suggestion was made.

How many visits will I need?
Some problems such as changing habits can be dealt with very quickly, whereas others may take longer. It is impossible to be precise as to the number of appointments needed, as the differences in personality of both therapist and client may vary so much.
